Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati

Ruth Mompati was born Ruth Segomotsi Seichoko on 14 September 1925 in Ganyesa Village in the District of Vryburg in present-day North West. Ruth was educated at United Vryburg Primary School and Tiger Kloof Educational Institution. In 1944 she started her teaching career at Dithakwaneng Primary School near Vryburg. She also taught at United School in Vryburg until she married Peter Matseoane in 1952. Learn more …
